Lost )

So do we have a new episode next week or was last week's the last one until the LOOOOOOOONG hiatus?

Why do ALL my shows have to do this to me at the same time? I can deal with one or two of them being off the air (well, OK, I TOTALLY can't deal with "Supernatural" being off the air), but ALL OF THEM? "Supernatural", "Veronica Mars", and "Lost" are on hiatus until January (well, I know VM has one new episode, but still), "Prison Break" is gone until MARCH (better than May, but still...FUCK YOU, FOX!), "Threshold" is cancelled outright (*fumes*). Anyone know if "Grey's Anatomy" is going on hiatus too? Because that would be pretty much all my shows. *whimper*

Anyway, on to Veronica Mars )

Survivor )

Amazing Race )

Prison Break )

I really need to overhaul my journal with a better layout. Still Dean-and-Sam-related of course, just something slightly less sucky. I also think it's about time for a Dean/Sam eyefuck picspam too, because nobody does hot/wrong meaningful glances like our Winchester boys ;-)

OK, TV is starting to try my patience. First, "Supernatural" is on hiatus until JANUARY! I really don't know how I'm going to make it. I have a hard enough time waiting the usual week between the episodes, how they expect me to last well over a month without my weekly fix of Dean and Sam I have no idea (and it makes me fearful for the LOOOOOONG summer hiatus!).

Second, the complete ASSHATS at Fox who decided to just take "Prison Break" off the air until like MAY can go fuck themselves! That makes no sense to me. Isn't the show doing amazingly well? Why must they deny me my weekly fix of Wentworth Miller? WHY?

And third, they canceled "Threshold"! Which, though I didn't get all fandomy about it, I was really enjoying! Why dreck like "Surface" and "Invasion" got picked up for a full season and "Threshold" didn't is beyond me.

Argh. So much argh!

And now, a meme gacked from [info]witchofthedogs:

I'm at work right now and feeling so unbelievably weird. Like everything is just off.

I'm all antsy and distracted and I can't concentrate on anything at all.

Ack! WTF is wrong with me? I've been feeling like this since yesterday and there's no good reason for it.

Maybe I've had too much caffiene or something because I'm so jittery and on edge right now it's not even funny.

On a completely unrelated and random note, I just got off a call with some guy who sounded exactly like Wentworth Miller. Talk about distracting!

Argh, the calls are coming at an irritating frequency right now so I guess I should cut this utterly pointless post short.

Stupid customers, getting in the way of my slacking off!

I managed to get my parents hooked on "Supernatural". Go me!

I thought of something at work today that I wanted to post about but as soon as I hit the "update journal" button it left my brain. *shrug* So everyone pretend I just posted something particularly insightful and witty, k?

The dog just had a complete spaz attack, ran circles around the apartment for a few minutes, then did a crazy assed flip and rebounded off the back of the couch a-la Donald O'Conner from "Singing in the Rain".

OK then...

I have the weirdest dog ever.

I downloaded some Abandoned Pools over the weekend and they freaking rock. I had the "Clone High" theme on my computer already but hadn't bothered to download anything else until now. I highly recommend them.

Speaking of "Clone High", I've never seen a more impossible to find DVD just a week or two after its release! I love this show. It's so unbelivably hilarious and I simply must own it!

I went to HMV the other day and the guy said they'd be getting some in a few days, I go back a week later they STILL don't have any so they have to special order it!

It's a new fucking release! They should have copies! Or at least SOMEONE should! Is that too much to ask? I suppose I could put some money on my credit card and get it from Amazon, but it's the principle of the thing. [info]pumpkin_dude and I wanted to have a "Clone High" marathon last weekend, but wound up Ghandi-less.

*sigh*

We did finally get around to watching "Team America: World Police" which was as hilarious as I expected it to be. Trey Parker and Matt Stone are comic geniuses. Though I don't think I'll ever get "America, FUCK YEAH!" out of my head now.

I keep getting weird named customers at work. Last week I talked to a "Joy Happy" (who was definitely nowhere near as cheerful as her name would suggest), and today I talked to "Scott Evol"... o_0

I need to get to work on some vids. I have a psychotically angsty Sam vid and a mildly angsty Dean vid waiting to be made (though I think I may wait until after a few more eps air for those, as the upcoming episodes sound like they should be chock full of delicious emotional turmoil). I'm having the strange compulsion to do a really gratuitus humor vid to "United States of Whatever", mainly because Dean has the best facial expressions of anyone on TV ever and I want an excuse to showcase them in a vid.

Also, do you think I'd go to hell for making an Evil-Shapeshifter!Dean/Sam vid to "Closer" by Nine Inch Nails? Yeah, I thought so. Meh, I might not bother with that one though, there have been at least four or five "Skin" vids so far and I hate to be derivitive.

"Prison Break" is on tonight. Yay! Though my excitement for the episode is almost completely eclipsed by the fact that the asshats at Fox are putting the whole fucking season on hold after the next 3 episodes!!! Honestly, what the fuck?

Do they have their heads so far up their asses that they can't see that "Prison Break" is a huge hit that's developing a really big following? I find it a little hard to believe that they can't find one fucking hour in their programming schedule to fit in the best show they currently have on their lineup.

Because American Idol really needs to be on three times a week. *fumes*

I mean, if they're going to shift around one of their new shows, why not move "Bones"? I mean I AM enjoying "Bones" but it doesn't have that sense of urgency that "Prison Break" has. I suppose the Fox execs think that "Prison Break" has a better chance of getting it's audience back after a break as opposed to "Bones", but still. I'm not at all pleased with this.

Wow this entry is all over the place. I'm sure nobody's even reading anymore. Blah.

I'll end this off with a couple of mustic recs of songs I've been listening to incessantly.

"We Are All On Drugs" -- Weezer

"Remedy" -- Abandoned Pools

"The Mixed Tape" -- Jack's Mannequin

"Do You Want To?" -- Franz Ferdinand

"I Slept With Someone in Fallout Boy and All I Got Was This Stupid Song Written About Me" -- Fallout Boy

Just woke up from a really bizarre dream. Wentworth Miller was in it, but instead of it being a sexy dream (as any dream about him should be!), it was just odd, pointless, and kinda irritating.

We were in this huge kitchen and there were a bunch of other people around (I don't remember who most of them were becasue I wasn't interacting with any of them--although I do recall Rube from "Dead Like Me" was milling around) and I was trying to make spaghetti but I kept having to leave the kitchen to do other things.

So Wentworth is hanging around doing nothing and I asked him if he would please put the spaghetti noodles in the water once it started boiling. He said he would and I left do something.

I came back in and noticed that no only was the water not boiling yet, he'd put the noodles AND the sauce into the lukewarm water!

So I go up to him and this is our conversation:

Me: What the hell did you do to my pasta?
Went: You told me to put it in the water, so I did.
Me: Yeah but AFTER the water boiled! And why did you put the sauce in the water too?
Went: Trust me. I'm a chef.
Me: No you're not! You're an actor!
Went: Same diff.
Me: No it's not!
Went: Yes is is!
Me: Shut up!
Went: You shut up!
Me: Fuck you!

I woke up as I was storming out of the kitchen while he stood there with a self-satisfied smirk on his face.

Seriously, WTF?

Oh, Dean, could I possibly love you any more?

I love this show. Absolutely LOVE it. It is everything I've ever wanted in a TV show. Just, so much love!

barely spoilery for tonights ep, but cut just in case )

Yeah, so I had to update the icons a little bit :-)

Also added a bunch of Prison Break icons, because Wentworth Miller? Extremely close second in the "hottest-thing-to-grace-my-TV-screen-this-season-(or-possibly-ever)" race.

So much good TV on this season. I'm both pleasantly surprised and mildly annoyed because now I have at least one show on every night that I HAVE to watch (well, except Saturdays--but there's never anything good on Saturdays).

"How I Met Your Mother" has proven itself to be wildly hilarious, despite my earlier expectations that it would probably suck hard. I never imagined myself saying this (OK, maybe I did a little after seeing "Harold and Kumar Go to White Castle") but Neil Patrick Harris is THE SHIT!

This is the first time in a long time that a sitcom has made me laugh out loud multiple times over the course of an episode. It's not quite as funny as Best!Sitcom!Ever! "Newsradio" (which will always and forever hold the distinction of being my absolute favorite), but it's pretty damn funny.

spoilers for Monday's ep )

So yeah, TV, man, I can't seem to post about anything else lately. Oh well, I've accepted the fact that I have no life so I'm forced to live vicariously through TV characters. Blah.

I'm in the middle of downloading all the "Firefly" episodes so I can go see "Serenity", which looks awesome. I've watched a few "Firefly" eps but was always working when they originally aired so I kinda missed the boat on that one the first time around. I look forward to watching it now though!

In other news, I need to figure out a Halloween costume so I can go to a gay Halloween dance with [info]tweyelite (who is going, appropriately enough, as a rainbow--hee hee!). I really have no clue what to dress up as. I've had that same problem for pretty much every Halloween since I was about 13. Bah, I always end up just wearing a bunch of weird clothing, doing something weird with my hair, and putting on scary makeup. Pretty lame. I need to think up something original.
