I have several actual vids on the go right now, in various stages of completion (and dammit, I'm going to finish one soon, for reals) but back in August, after getting home from Vividcon, I made a bunch of mashups of some of my older vids and figured you guys might get a kick out of a couple of them. For those of you who don't know (because, sadly, I didn't know what they were until I went to the mashup party at VVC), a mashup is when you take an existing vid and swap out the audio with a completely different song, hopefully with hilarious results.

I linked to the original vids as well (because you may want to watch them first for comparison if you haven't seen them already), and please excuse the lame titles (yeesh), but anyway, here they are...

-----------------
Mashup the First:

Fell On Bohemian Polka

Original Vid: Fell On Black Days (Sam-centric)
New Song: "Bohemian Polka" by Weird Al Yankovic
Notes: This one is definitely the best of the many mashups I played around with. It worked out FRIGHTENINGLY well in pretty much every single aspect, the lyrics, the beats, everything. Seriously, it's ridonk.

------------------
Mashup the Second:

Get Out of My Dreams, Wake Up In My Car

Original Vid: I Woke Up In A Car (Sam-centric)
New Song: "Get Out of My Dreams, Get Into My Car" by Billy Ocean
Notes: This one also turned out pretty hilariously with a ton of serendipitous lyrical matches. Though, I suppose it's not too surprising because both songs do involve sleeping/dreaming and being in cars...

-----------------
Mashup the Third:

Reptilia Shaketramp

Original Vid: Reptilia (Episodic of 1x01)
New Song: "Shaketramp" by Marianas Trench
Notes: This turned my little gen vid about the pilot episode into something that's really quite 'cesty and suggests that Dean and Sam may be into BDSM... LOL!

Oh, and in case any of you are interested, I've also re-rendered all of my older SPN vids (everything made before Born to Kill -- because I was a complete knob when it came to rendering before I got Sony Vegas) so they now actually fill the screen (if you have a widescreen monitor), plus the audio quality is greatly improved.

They can all be found under my SPN vids tag.
