It took me forever to realize that I accidentally had comments disabled on my last post. *is lame*


I love SPN fandom. I really really do. I don't check my flist for like two days, I come back to find that someone started a huge SPN hate thread, and within about a day pretty much the entire fandom has collectively gotten over it (well, most people were never really "under" it to begin with) and moved on to discussing other, more important things. Like the new HOTASS pics of Jensen ;-)

So I have less than a week of training left before they drag me kicking and screaming back to the phones. Fucking customers... I'm already plotting my escape. Apparently there will be lots of opportunities for promotions on this new contract, so I'm going to get in on that if I can. At this point I don't particularly care what they have me doing, hell, I don't even care much about a pay raise (though that would certainly be nice), just OMG get me OFF the fucking phones! I'm already working myself into a panic at the mere thought of dealing with asshat customers again.

My friend Jo sent me this video and it captures the complete and utter ridiculousness of my job pretty much perfectly. I get this exact same call at least 50 times every single day. *headdesk*

I'm totally pissed off at myself. I really really hate when I neglect to do something simple that results in something annoying like money being stupidly wasted.

I was going to buy the Battlestar Galactica season 1 DVDs today. I found them in the store and read the back of the box to find the sentence:

"Contains all 13 episodes of the first season, plus the miniseries that started it all."

*fumes*

The miniseries is already ON the season 1 DVDs. The same miniseries that I shelled out $35 for just last week, when I could have spent just $10 more to get the miniseries AND the first season TOGETHER if I had only bothered to read the back of the DVD box while I was at the store!

So frigging irritated. So yeah, I wound up NOT buying the DVDs. I think what I'm going to do is trade in a few movies (including the miniseries) at Blockbuster tomorrow for store credit and get the DVDs that way. Then I won't be quite so annoyed at myself for needlessly pissing away $35.

Bah.


pumpkin_dude showed me this video today and I just about died laughing! It's just a short little thing about these two brothers trying to take a nice photo of themselves to give to their mom for mothers day when things quickly devolve into bitchiness and slap fights. Just watch, it's WAY too funny to pass up!


Also, Jensen Ackles with facial hair? Quite possibly the hottest thing I have ever seen in my life. My panties have MELTED. *drools*
