Ugh.

Well that vacation was ENTIRELY too short. I'm back to sitting here, chained to my desk by my headset, waiting for the obnoxious *beep* that makes me die a little inside every time I hear it.

Anyway, on to happier things. Belated Merry Christmas/Happy Holidays and whatnot to everyone on my flist! I love you all!

Had a very nice Christmas. Spent the day with my parents, pumpkin_dude, my brother, my grandfather, and my uncle.

Since everyone else is doing it...

Shallow, materialistic What-I-Got-For-Christmas list:

- A VIDEO CAMERA!!!!! *flails-dances-dies* TOTALLY unexpected and OH SO AWESOME! Now I can film MY OWN stuff to edit! *salivates*. It's not brand new (but I totally don't care), my dad bought himself a new video camera and gave me his old one. It's very nice though, he had only bought the old one a couple of years ago and barely used it (which makes me wonder why the hell he felt the need to upgrade to a NEW camera...but whatever). I don't have it in my possession yet, as my dad found a huge box of old tapes that need to be converted while he still has the old camera, but I should have it in a couple of weeks. I'm SO excited about this! *reads manual voraciously*

- A DVD burner! Again, totally awesome, my dad gets me the coolest toys ;-) We spent a ridiculously long time installing the fucker in my computer, but it appears to be working, so YAY!

- Dance Dance Revolution! Yes, totally lame, but SO MUCH FUN! Also, it has a workout mode. I might have found a workout program I can stick with. It's fun AND I can do it at home, so I can no longer use the excuse that I don't feel like leaving the house. Unfortunately it only came with one dance mat, so I can't play the two player version. I may need to get another one off Ebay one of these days though, especially if tweyelite ever ends up moving down here ;-)

- "Dark Angel" seasons 1 and 2. I'm persuasive and managed to convince pumpkin_dude that we should exchange gifts last week *evil grin*. So I've watched all of season 1 and half of season 2 already. I'm quite enjoying it and will post more detailed junk about it once I'm finished with the series.


So that's about it, really, aside from an HMV gift certificate and some money from my grandparents.

But yeah, VIDEO CAMERA!!! EEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!!!

ETA: Also, OMG I ate so much frigging turkey last night, I never want to see another turkey again in my entire life! *explodes*
