Just watched the second episode of "Supernatural". I watched the first ep the other day and wasn't too sure about it. However the ending really hooked me (what can I say, I'm a sucker for potential angst) and I figured I'd give it another chance.

I've decided that I like it. It has a campy, old school "X-Files" feel to it that I like. Also...the older brother, Dean?

It didn't blow me away as much as "Threshold" did, but "Supernatural" was still good enough that I'll probably watch it until it inevitably gets cancelled.

So much good TV on lately it's ridiculous.

I'm so glad I finally got my DVR. DVR = Best. Idea. EVER!

Holy shit, "Threshold", did anyone else see that on Friday? WOW! I'm so impressed, it was unbelievably good!

I'm such a TV cynic now, someone at work told me about it, I DVR'ed it, so last night Brodie and I were sitting around with nothing to do and I decided to put it on.

I'm like "We'll watch 5 minutes of it, if it sucks, it's getting turned off." Well, I was hooked pretty much instantly.

SO awesome, and SO scary! It's the first time I've been actually frightened by a TV show in a very very long time (probably since X-Files and that wasn't usually THAT scary!). I love the character of Lucas, I just have this really bad feeling they're going to kill him off. No real reason for the bad feeling, maybe I'm just being a pessimist. But seriously, check out this show! Download the first ep if you missed it and watch the next episode next Friday, it's TOTALLY worth it!

Speaking of X-Files, I'm over the moon at the fact that X-Files is being rerun at 10:00 every night starting from the first episode.

X-Files was my first fandom. There's always a special place in your heart for your first love. Well, at least when it comes to fandom :-) There are episodes I've been watching that I hadn't seen since they first aired! It takes me back to being in Grade 8. java_green and I would go to the ice rink every friday night but we had to make sure we got back before 9:00 so we could watch X-Files!

tweyelite gave me disks of the 1st season of "The 4400" which looks good, I'm going to check them out today because the new season starts on space tonight.

I'm thinking of downloading the first few eps of "Prison Break" because I've heard it's good.

Not to mention that "Lost" and "Veronica Mars" will be starting soon! Ack! So many shows!

Ugh, and I don't even want to TALK about Big Brother. I wish the BB house would explode or something so NEITHER of those two hags would get a penny!

I've been so out of touch with LJ lately, apologies to my lovely flist :-( I'm going to try to catch up with everything in the next few days.

The only thing getting me through my hellish day of work today was the knowledge that Big Brother was set up to tape and I would have the pleasure of watching Howie berate April, and Janelle getting into a bitch fight with Beau (not to mention the last time I'll see my beloved Kaysar) and the FREAKING power went off and the fucker didn't tape!!!

pumpkin_dude attempted to set it up for me after the power went out and before he left the house but he has no idea how to program the VCR and it didn't work.

So I'm downloading the ep on bittorrent right now, as there's no way in hell I'm missing the last moments of Kaysar :-(

Oh well, at least Janie got HoH so she can take some of those bitches down a peg! And I'm looking forward to seeing Howie's continuing torture of April. Hope he drives her crazy enough so she QUITS!

Once the rest of the Sov4 (well, 3 now I guess) have been voted out, I don't think I'll be able to stomach watching it anymore.

As having to listen to the inane ramblings of the sanctimonious hypocrites in the "Friendship" makes me want to claw my freaking eyes out!

He's the most brilliant player in Big Brother history and MUST be voted back into the house!

Aside from the fact the he's an awesome player and he deserves to be back in the game, the main reason to vote him back in is to see the looks on the faces of the stupid assed little "Friendship" cult when Kaysar walks in the door instead of their beloved "Cappy"!!!

It will be TELEVISION GOLD remembered for years to come. Mark my words.

They're going around thinking that "Saint Eric" must be America's favorite but they are SORELY mistaken!

These people have gone beyond any reason at this point. They PRAY TO ERIC as if he were a god! They claim he's watching over them (it's as though they think he was killed upon walking out the door to the Big Brother house, not simply evicted!). They are no longer playing the game for themselves but for Eric!!!

Big Brother was fairly predictable last night. I was SO glad to see Michael go (I just wish both him AND Janelle could have been voted off simultaneously!). He's such a fucking loser! I can't believe Janelle was falling for all those cheesy porntastic lines he was spewing! Actually, I can believe it. As she's a whore.

I was very glad that Kayser got HoH. He's probably one of the least irritating people in the house, therefore, I'm rooting for him to win.

The people I want to win never do though (well, with the exception of BB4, I wanted Jun to win from the first episode and she did). I was HARD CORE rooting for Nakomis last season though and she got voted off (by her own BROTHER nonetheless).

Blah.

Why the hell have I never bothered to download any Hot Hot Heat before today? They fucking rock!

I know it's incredibly dorky of me, but I love Kayser's t-shirt that says "Department of Redundancy Department".

Michael's a tool. I thought he was OK at first (especially since he says in his profile on cbs.com that he's an LOTR fan), but now I think he's a fucking dumbass. This comment sealed it:
